83 245- The problem with locking keys in your car. (a solution) 200

Come on, don't leave my keys hanging. I found a nice magnetic holder with a Tiyota key inside and I tried many time to find the car and gave up. Now I have a magnetic box and no where to locate it.

I locate the spare keys at the underside of the front tied with wire and sometimes with a wrap of electrical tape, if anybody is interested. Imagine how bad it is accessing the key while on the way to a wedding when raining or snowing parked on mud or in the street and worse, at the bovine entrance of the milking barn.

A modified quote from the movie Marathon Man, Dr Szell to Babe: Oh, don't worry. I'm not going into that cavity. That nerve's already dying. A live, freshly-cut nerve is infinitely more sensitive. So I'll just drill into a healthy tooth until I reach the pulp. That is unless, of course, you can tell me....where the magnetic box can be located.

Oh shoot, never mind, I found it.

Tom
