TPS sensor miracle when disconnected S90-V90

s90 160,000
NO CEL, no tranny codes, no flashing arrow.

The tach indicator will jump forward and back, then forward again, and ther car lurches. Transmission mechanic told me that tranny is busy, locking/unlocking too fast.

TPS has been checked voltage and resistance as specified by volvo, i was not driving car when checking voltage i simply connecetd volt meter and moved thrittle cable observing voltage rising from 0.5 to 4.5V.

I disconnected TPS and car drives very smoth with engine ligh on and flashing arrow which i didnt have before i disconnected TPS.

What happened after disconneceting TPS? Does it mean that i need a new TPS eventhough it passed the test? What should i do next?

thankj yuo all
