Dead power seat - drivers side 1994

Last night we had to move some furniture. The wife moved the driver's side seat forward. Now it appears to be dead. Nothing at all - no tilt, no up/down, forward or back. No noise.

1. Any trick to removing and replacing the fuse? They seem really hard to remove so I was cautious last night and left it in. Can't tell whether it has a problem. Do I just get in there with a pliers and pull it out? Seems like I would not be able to remove it without a tool of some kind.

2. Up until last night the seat worked fine - never any issues. This is a 1994 940 wagon. I'm guessing that an independent mechanic might not be interested in this kind of work (though I'll ask around) and if I end up having to take it to a dealer the cost is going to add up fast. Unfortunately the seat is all the way forward, so it is a real squeeze to fit in and drive it. I'm only 5'10" but it's still too far forward.

Any suggestions?
