TPS sensor miracle when disconnected S90-V90

I ordered one so hopefully this weekend ll find out if tps to blame.

my idle stays around 800-900, rarely dropps to 500, otherwise it is steady 900 at all times. I drove in L which is gear 1 and car doesnt jerk as a busy trasmission when driving in D.

i still wonder why car drives fine with tps disconnecetd. does it go into some default mode where it stays in one gear only and which one? would you know?

when tps disconnected idle pick up to 2000 as it should with disconnected tps, when i shift into D it gives a kick and rpm go to a "regular" idle 800-900.

i just want to understand what exactly happens when tps is disconnecetd.

thanks
