C, D or K camshafts? 120-130

Hello dudes:

I have pretty much gutted out the B18. Will send the block for machine work as soon as I get the new .030 pistons.

Right now I am researching which camshaft I should get. I originally was planning on getting the same original "C" grind. But then I read many raves that "D" is the best one to go. And some said "K."

But then when I cross reference, I find conflicting information saying that "D" is recommended for fuel injected engines.

That was also IPD's recommendation too.

How can this 'professional' recommendation be refuted for an engine that uses B18B head and a pair of SU HS6 carbs?

All I want out of the rebuild is an engine that still offers decent power and excellent fuel economy.

I am not looking to race but to enjoy zipping around in town and country!

Thanks,

-DS
