My story about heater valve 900

I'd read alot about failing valves and the words "catastrphic failure" stayed with me. I planned to try the Ford part and got one quickly at the local dealer.

When I went to remove the old, the upper plastic part broke off in the hose. I did turn it a bit but it just sheared in two. It was clearly just a matter of time before i would experience "catastrphic failure" myself.

I have no idea how old the thing was, could have been original. I'm gonna do the same thing on the other 940 as a preventative. I'll order it from Rock Auto instead.

So don't hesitate to do this job. Just get the throttle body out of the way and you're there
