1/8" NPT oil pressure port on B230 head 200 1990

This is what I'm using on my '92 240DL.
After removing the oil pressure sender for the dash's idiot light:

Egauges.com: adapter from metric port in block - M14x1.5x1/8NPT (R7963) $6.55
Lowes: brass pipe nipple, male to male - 1/8"MIP x4" (A-721)
Lowes: brass 90 degree elbow, female to female - 1/8"NPT FP elbow (A-700)

Parted out previously owned '83 240GLT:
VDO oil pressure gauge
VDO oil pressure sender, dual post

Plumbing was necessary to clear alternator, oil filter, heater pipe from w/p and exhaust manifold heat shield. Installation was made easier by moving alternator way. Fuse #13 provided power to gauge. Tapped other gauges' wiring for light to oil pressure gauge.

Note: This setup has not yet been tested. Car is still out of commission for other project/maintenance work.

For the fun of Volvos,
Mike
