Trailer Hitch for 240 Wagon 200 1991

Hello Folks,
I am looking to get a trailer hitch for my 91 240 wagon. It is auto and has 121,743 miles on it so I feel that it is still strong. Anyway I was wondering a few things.
1) Best place to purchase one? I looked on line and I see different types that say that they will fit this car.
2)Is it major work to put on? It is welded or bolted?
3)I will be using it help my wife with her antique habit. Many of the last trips we just dn't have room in the back for all the stuff.
4)I guess how much is safe to haul? I don't wanna mess up the shocks or struts or harm engine.

Sorry this may seem like simple questions but I really coudl use the help.

Thank you
