83 245- The problem with locking keys in your car. (a solution) 200

My 90 won't let me lock the car with the driver's door open.
That means I have to lock the car with the key, OR bypass the setup by pushing down the driver's lock knob from the rear door.

Bypassing the feature is the only way I've ever locked myself out. Go figure.

That said, I do also have a hide-a-key. Those frame rails are very good magnet holders... and if you put it in the right spot, nobody will ever find it. Maybe not even you :P I tried to use my hide a key twice. Once I couldn't find it. Second time, I found it.
