Hall Switch removal

I was wondering if anyone can walk me through the removal process of the hall switch. I can't get any further than the removal of the dizzy rotor and cap. I am inexperienced with Volvos and don't wanna start prying on stuff and end up bending a critical component. I need to replace the impulse sender assembly to include the hall switch. Is there a snap ring or something that holds the sender on? Not sure where I am going wrong. I was told that since I have a 1986 that the sender is held on with four rivets, but I have four screws holding it on? I need help with this, any suggestions from you more experienced Volvo owners?
