fuel/oil additives - what do you use? what do you think works? 200 1989

this a brand called Lubromoly also called Liquimoly. both the same company. They have a anti-friction oil additive that contains MOS2 Molybdenum DiSulfide. I haven't found it in any store but it can be purchased online. you put it in when u change your oil and it makes the engine quieter and smoother. you can check there website for a product description Lubromoly.com. Another additive I use is called ZDDPplus. Its a 4oz concentrated formula of zinc/phosphorus. New oils only have about 800ppm zinc and 600ppm phosphorus. flat tappet camshafts require 1800ppm zinc and 1700ppm phosphorus. what zddp does is its an extreme pressure lubricant that protects the cam lobes from wearing down as they slide across the buckets. zddp and mos2 coat all internal engine parts with a protective layer of lubricant. less wear on cold starts and quieter and smoother engine. zddpplus.com explains it further. I use Mobil 1 synthetic either 5w30 or 10w30 with the MOS2 and zddp additives. I use royal purple synthetic in the auto trans, and i use mobil 1 75w90 synthetic GL5 in the differential. I dont use any fuel additives because i only put shell 93 octane in it which has plenty of cleaning additives already.
