What kind of spark plugs do you have? The turbos need run-of-the-mill copper core plugs. Nothing fancy-schmancy. What kind of plug wires do you have? Bougicord are reguired for the turbos. The distributor cap has contact pins in the bottom of each hole. Regular crimped connector plug wires don't make contact with the pins and the extra gap weakens the spark and it gets blown out during turbo boost. The Bougicord wires have a hole in the end and should fit all the way to the bottom of the cap holes and ingage the pins. Does the air intake thermostat work properly? Does it close all the way when the engine gets hot or does it allow the hot air to be pulled in all the time?
