Sudden Rod Knock? 1993

Phil,

The noise didn't strike me as rod knock, but the clip was pretty short. The fact that you have 0 compression at cylinders 1 and 2 suggests a head gasket issue or perhaps a valve issue, just my best guess here. Even if rod bearings were bad, you would still have some compression on cylinders 1 and 2, right? Any oil mixed with the coolant or vice versa? Mike
