1998 S90 Oil Pressure Switch S90-V90

Hello all, it has been a while since I checked in, mainly because my S90 has been such a dream of a reliable car, now with over 125,000 miles on it and I am the second owner, third technically but really second.

I have reason to believe my oil pressure switch is faulty after having talked with my shop, and was advised that going ahead and swapping it out would be cheaper to having them do diagnosis, finding out that that is the problem, and then replacing the part.

The oil pressure light, yellow, will come on very briefly and intermittently, whether cold or hot, stationary or underway, and then quickly go out. I don't see any dripping on the garage floor.

Can anyone advise on the difficulty of the job? How much disassembly is needed to get to it? Do you have to get under the car to do it? Where is the switch located?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

Doug
