HELP No Reverse Lights M47 200 1989

There are two wires in one sheath that were broken by the shifter mechanism underneath the rubber boot. A black wire and a yellow/blue wire. I've read from previous posts that these wires connect to the top of the transmission on two male pins on the transmission. Reaching up there I can feel the pins but no female part is present any longer.
In conclusion, the wires must have been severed by the shifter or something and then the connector underneath the car must have fallen out.

My question is for the connector that plugs into the top of the transmission, is this a part that I have to get at the dealer, or is there a place to order it or is it even available at a big box store?
