Power stage or why did it have severe misfiring 700

After about 50 miles,my '87 B230FT began to misfire with severe power loss under boost, would still blow 10#,then backed off to no boost (and not much power)but did smooth out.

Almost made me think the spark was too weak or would "blow out" under boost?

Pulled the power stage and it was pretty dried out between heat sink and power stage. Actually may have recovered before I dug into heat sink.

Picked up some heat sink paste and has been back to normal? BTW the power stage does have 448,000 miles.

Do you think it overheated and is likely to have a repeat. Thanks!
