You get a D in scrounging if that is the best price you can get on a lock cylinder, coil and
armored cable. BTW one for a 12 volt car or 122 would work fine.
If you do put in a modren switch, be careful you don't mess up the hole the original fits in.
BTW what you got is a lock cylinder. The little pins that the teeth on the key push against
are the tumblers.
