External HG Coolant Leak

Thanks for the response Rodney,

I actually ran a vented cap for a while, but it didn't seem to make a difference in the flowrate.

I am also curious as to how long this might continue. I suppose installing a new head gasket at some point might make sense, but cost wise, the dribbling is relatively inexpensive, while a HG, for a cheapskate like me, is not in my immediate plans, however easy it might - or might not - be.

I used my garden sprayer brake bleeder to put the system under pressure to verify the leak. You might want to run a similar test to ensure your leak is not from the water pump mushroom seal.

Marty
