1970 1800E overdrive 1800 1970

I have temporary possession of a 1970 1800E. Before I ship the car off to it's next owner I need to get the overdrive working electrically. The car has the OD switch on the right side of the steering wheel. With the transmission in fourth gear and actuating the switch I get no dash light and no OD solenoid "click". Is there an OD relay on this car, or does the engagement switch connect directly to the fourth gear switch? If so, I assume the fourth gear switch connects directly to the OD solenoid and dash light for indicating OD actuation. Is there a nice online wiring diagram for this car?

Supposedly the 1970 1800E came with the M410, made by ZF. How is an M410 identified, and is the fourth gear switch the same as for an M41?
