I know a 12V setup will work, that's what I've been pricing. I'm all ears if you have leads on a 12V ignition-armored cable/coil setup. Cheapest I've seen is $395 Euro = $526 USD (before shipping). Also, the coil was OLD and was due for replacement anyway. Can I ask why you are so averse to swapping out the stock (now smoking) ignition switch for a universal one and a Bosch 12V Blue coil?

And that's semantics, my friend. Cylinder vs tumbler. Can you have a functioning lock cylinder without the tumblers inside? ;)
