Paul.Greetings.I did the harmonic balancer on my 240 due to similar timing mark issues.I bought mine from FCP Groton.It was the ScanTech brand,(which some folks on this forum disapprove of), yes,a new timing belt is a must,, as for the crank and shaft seals,it depends on the conditions, and how much you love your horse,,uh car....On the bright side, you will never be at a point where everything is done on your classic Volvo! You will never be bored,or at a loss for things to do..The love/hate relationship will go on and on as your 740 nibbles away at your wallet.
