Some of you might remember me here, I have been out of Volvo's for a couple of years now since I traded in my 99 S70 GLT (many features and feel of which I miss greatly actually).

Looking for a "winter" car now and would like to have the chance to drive a Volvo again, if even for nostalgia's sake.

I'm aiming at the $3-5k range and ran across some 240's in that range, and was surprised, since I expected they'd be much less. Sure enough, a couple of '93's had book value in the $1500 range, yet sellers were firm on not going below $3k. Tsup whiddat? Are they considered "collectible" now?
