Engine Stall 700 1992

I was driving home today in my 92 745T, 120,000 miles on it and all of a sudden when I pushed the accel pedal it was like the car was loosing power so I pushed the accel a couple of times and it took off and got me home. Was going up a very very slight inlcine when this happened.

While in the driveway at home I decided to check the codes and they are 1-1-1, so no indication there.

Tried to start and wouldnt start.

Went back in the house and came out later and tried to start and it did and I kept the RPMS up to around 2000 and slowly let them come down to 750. Then tried to accel back to 2000 and stumbled and sputtered and quit.

Check the codes again and still 1-1-1.

Note: 1/4 tank of gas in the car.

Any ideas? Will the engine still get gas to it if the fuel pump under the drivers seat is going bad. Will it draw enough thru the line to get it to start using onlythe intank pump?
