SEE/DEE electronic iginition 1800

Hi Everyone

I've just acquired a Judson See/Dee electronic ignition module
THis is a points assisted unit but it is a capacitive discharge unit, which is supposed to generate very high voltages at the spark plug

looking at the wiring diagram which is available online I am a bit concerned to connect it as the P1800's Tacho is directly wired into the CB side of the coil ie in series with it.

Does anyone have any experience with this unit and how to wire it in a P1800

Thanks in advance
Nanda Kumar, Malaysia
