Clutch question 444-544 1958

I recently changed out the motor mounts on the car and when I got every back together, the clutch seemed to have no resistance. Even if the clutch has bonded itself to the flywheel via rust, shouldn't there still be a significant resistance on the clutch pedal? Right now, I can push it down easily with my hand. Everything in the linkage is moving as it should. Maybe it's horrendously out of adjustment?
