1990 240 DL engine turns over but car will not start, need help! 200 1990

Hi all.

I have a '90 240 DL and when the weather is particularly wet/cold, the car will almost start, but not quite make it there. I can tap on the gas pedal to get it to catch most of the time, and once it's started once, it usually doesn't have a problem again all day. I've replaced the fuel pump relay already, about a year ago. I looked at another post which told me to look for a fuse box in the engine compartment that should be up by the top driver's side, but I did not see it on mine, though I could have just missed it.

I can provide any more information that is necessary if anyone has any ideas what this could be. It's really left me in a pickle at times, but I love this car and would love to fix this consistent nuisance.

Thanks!
