strange idle 940

Was this problem there before the new tune up parts? Asking because I've had problems surface after replacing tune up parts.

Your issue does sound to be air/fuel mixture related. Wondering out loud if this could be the MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) or a dirty Mass Air Flow sensor. This assumes that you do not have an air or vacuum leak elsewhere.

You may also want to try Seafoam. You can run it through the gas tank to clean injectors, etc. And you can suck it into the engine through a vacuum line. Suck in a decent amount and then shut the car down if it doesn't stall. Let it soak for 20 minutes or so, and then start it up. Run it until all the white smoke goes away. If you use this method, follow the instructions on the can.

I've done this many times to help get the car running better. Of course, if you still have an air leak or dirty/faulty sensor, Seafoam isn't going to help.
