Hexes Flood... 120-130 1967

Mine can be like that if I don't get the choke setting just right. Being very cold there you'll maybe need full choke for the actual start before pushing it back in a bit, more so without any filters on. Carbs have been apart and the choke will need setting up again from scratch.
On first read it sounded as if you were losing the ignition circuit after letting go the key and there maybe something in that idea.
