Salt City Fuel Pump From Hell - What's Wrong? 900 1993

This is a picture of my fuel pump area.
I noticed the smell of fuel and fuel economy cut by about 1/3.

So today was a good day to take pictures of the nightmarish salty underside of my car (I regularly take it to the car wash but it's a losing battle in Syracuse, NY). I would like to fix this; might have my Volvo guy do it and he wouldn't mind if I supplied the parts - can brickboard folks reasonably diagnose my problem from these pictures? Do I need to replace my fuel pump? It sounds like it's running fine, but there's gas all over the bracket under there! Thanks!
