Hexes Flood... 120-130 1967

Hello Derek:

Yes, we are saying the same thing - turning the jets way down gave me more gas and adding the air filters was what got me over the hump, it seems. I was simply WAY too lean.

The air filters caught on fire so needless to say these are brand new filters. This whole side of the car has been taken down to metal. I even removed the wire between the voltage regulator and generator and tested it for continuity. I knew this thing had to be a mixture issue, I was just too far turned around to find my way. Thanks again for your guidance.

Yes, Phil's manifesto on SU's has been pretty much religion since I bought this car nine years ago. John Twist is definitely a favorite. He is the only reason I was able to change my u-joints myself.

Cheers,

Pooch
