Rad Thinking... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

1967 Volvo 122S wagon. I have a leak coming from the radiator's top inlet. The hose is almost brand new - I have a tiny crack in the metal inlet itself and I want to deal with it before it gets worse. This might well be the original radiator. My normally very bad instincts tell me to remove the whole radiator and take it to a proper shop to have it pressure tested. If it checks out then have a pro fix the joint, which I have been told is a solder situation, not welding. Can anyone recommend a good person for that in the New York City/Westchester County area?

Otherwise, do you all think I should just spring for a new radiator and forget about the pressure testing, etc.?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Cheers,

Pooch
