Good afternoon everyone,
While at the DMV updating the registration on my two bricks yesterday I met a woman that had just purchased a (I believe) '91 740. Introduced myself in the parking lot and had a nice discussion with her.

She does her own wrenching and is very excited about her new car. I pointed out some common ailments that she would need to address soon (flame trap seal was leaking) and told her about our little piece of the internet here. She was so happy to know that there was a dedicated following of owners who are willing to share their knowledge and experience. She will be joining very soon. I directed her to the 700/900 FAQs so she can get an idea of the general and specific knowledge available to her. Hope she introduces herself soon, and be gentle with her as this is her first Volvo brick. ---rick
