Seized engine S90-V90 1998

In the old days, we would drain the oil and cut the filter open to look for debris.

Today's mechanics would stick a scope op in there.

In a recent issue of Hemmings Sports and Exotic Cars, a fellow got a beautiful, freshly rebuilt MG engine and found an oil pump gear in the packing materials.

They looked inside, through the sump plug hole, and could see that the gear was missing.

Perhaps a six pack could lure a mechanic with a scope to your house.
