Touchup paint Options for Nautic Blue Pearl - paint code 417 on a 1998 V90 S90-V90

So after the last 8 years of ownership I thinking about touching up and rubbing out my V90 this spring. The color is "Nautic Blue Pearl - paint code 417"
From the little bit I have messed around I have noticed that Volvo Paint is much harder than other stuff I have worked with in the past ( typical Griots stuff wont touch the car wash scratched etc)

Has anyone tried this? I have a buffing wheel as well as DA orbital polisher I can bring to bear. I have painted cars in the past so I am leaning toward finding a pint or quart online ready to spray but I don't have much experience with these cars and harder than typical finishes.

I am thinking about rubbing out with a wheel ( using 3-M or norton compound) then touching up the car and following with a DA polisher. Any advice on process or online locations for paint that has worked out well greatly appreict4ed.

Thanks

Will
