I too have that 30 second rough idle at start up... 200

How are warm-restarts? Like right after fueling up or buying groceries? You could try manually turning the key to KP2 and back off several times to build up fuel pressure and see if that makes a difference. If it does, I'd think maybe dirty injectors - not fuel check valve. The fuel check valve is only intended to hold pressure for a few hours at most.
Have you run any injector cleaner?

PS my 84 240 does a similar crappy idle on start, and my 740T did when the 740T had a bad head gasket. Does it sound weird at all?
