2" exhaust from VP on an early car 120-130 1961

I have a mid-'61 122s recently converted from B16 to B18 with a 2-pipe exhaust manifold. The car has the wider trans tunnel in anticipation of the B18/M41 that came later that year.

I sourced the 2" exhaust system from Veteranprodukter (made by Skandix, I think), which has a long sausage muffler in the middle, the pipe over the rear axle, and a single larger muffler at the back.

Does anyone have experience hanging this system on a 122 of any vintage? Can the hangers welded to the pipes be used, or does it require a completely custom setup when installing on an early car?

When the original pegs on the undercarriage are close, they are off to one side, which makes hanging with rubber rings difficult.
