I need to move a 245 from Washington state to Kansas. Should I use a tow bar or rent a tow dolly? The bar is obviously cheaper but I assume the dolly would be a better ride?

Also, with an automatic you would remove the drive shaft but what about for manual tranny? I realize in N it would be fine but for such a long distance should I remove the drive shaft on that anyway?
