Fuel sender ohm range 444-544

Hello all,

I did some research in the archives here and it seems that the ohm range for the 444/544 fuel gauge sender is 0-180. I'm getting tired of trying to guess when I need to put gas in it, lol.

I'm putting a new 4 gauge cluster under the dash of the 444 and would like to put either a VDO or Autometer fuel gauge in there. I like a series of Autometer gauges they make, but none of the fuel gauges (half-sweep is preferred) match the sending unit's frequency. I know there has been a VDO sender used before (#226-001, I think) but I want to stick with the stock (but new) sender and not have to modify anything if I don't have to.

Any help is appreciated, as I'd like to order the gauges soon.
