Amazon Steering Column 120-130

It's a 1964 220. I have looked closely at the spot where the steering column passes through the firewall. It definately appears that the column is rubbing on the lower part of the hole in the metal firewall. The foam is nothing but a dust. There is very little up and down movement of the column when I try to lift it up and there is no slop in the column or mounting. I did have the steering box and connecting rubber coupling replaced about a year ago.
