Thought s electric fan 940 900 1994

For years The fan would come on after 3 minutes even in cold temps. Shut of and restart and the fan wouldn't run for a much longer period.

I recently took out the battery to clean all the connections in behind the headlite, including the fan relay(s). After putting everything back, the fan would not come on in this 90 degree heat until I pushed the AC switch. Seems like it is now operating normally
