HELP! Buy a '94 960 or 2000 S70 SE?

On the 2000 s70 ask if the etm has ever been replaced as this is an expensive repair when this item fails, which it will, also ask if the tranny has been serviced as this is another sore issue on this year and particular model. If you want an s70 98 is the best year because they do not have those issues above. The 960 my friend had was a money pit a common failure was engine wiring harness. The 960 6 cylinder engine is not as bulletproof like the 4 cylinder volvo made for some models or the 5 cylinder which comes in the 850 s70 etc
