1994 940 Airbags, watch out 900

The airbags in our 1994 Volvo 940 with 140,000 miles on it exploded when the driver hit a curb not going very fast. The airbags exploded and cut the drivers and passengers face. The passenger was almost knocked out and got a bloody nose. The windshield was all broken and cracked up. I know it doesn't take much to set these airbags off and there was probably a recall on the passenger side airbag. I've seen seen too many in the bone yard with broken windshields from airbag deployment.

We are not going to install used airbags back into the 940. Was wondering if an older 740 or 240 non airbag steering wheel will fit on this car????

Thanks for your response, and watch out, these cars and hurt people if the airbags go off, even if you barely hit anything.
