Oil pump drive bolt failure

Good catch on the big slug of red loctite on the bolt. The reason you only use a drop or 2 is so you don't change the torque tension relationship too much. Big globs of this stuff could reduce the friction leading to higher clamp load, like way higher than desired, and shortened life, i.e. fatigue failure. Makes sense to me. Hope it goes better next go around.
