Charging Problem 200 1992

'Damaged' in that I managed to bend the longer brush multiple times and in the process some of the plastic housing around that brush broke off. That brush as a result could tip a little to the side when its very extended. I think when the brush is long (i.e. until its worn way down) it will be OK but when the brush gets short it may allow it to tip sideways a little. So I think its OK.

Do the warning lights come on with the key in the run position and engine off? Most of them do - however I don't think the battery light comes on. Is that normal or should it come on also? If not normal, what would that indicate?
