Excess crankcase pressure 900 1994

94 940. Recently did a front crank seal as it was leaking badly. Probably due to messing up the install last year. I've also noticed oil seeping thru the filler cap gasket even though it is new.

When the cap is sitting on the hole in the valve cover, it jiggles, often to the point it falls off. On both other cars it just sits there happily.

Figured I should swap out a clean breather box and check everything in the ventilation system. Old was full of crud but I wouldn't say it was blocked. All tubes and trap are clean, including the little hole in the top of the throttle body connected to the flame trap.

New Breather is from a 92 240 but has been subjected to banging and shaking which yeilded alot of dried crud. I've done evrything I can thing of but the filler cap continues to dance like a top.

Any advice to diagnose the problem. I really don't want to blow the rear main
