1993 Regina Injection.
I've been working on my cooling system wiring and I ran the 'stage 3' diagnostic as described in the FAQ (Group A, Socket #2, press button three times)
The injectors, IAC valve and radio relay all fired as they should have. I did not get any signal from the fan via pins 10 and 11 from the ECU.

Further digging on volvowiringdiagrams.com tells me that in a Regina system the fan is not turned on as part of the diagnostic outputs testing.

Does the Regina system have this capability? I've confirmed the relay and fan work correctly by grounding the input pins: Low(blu/blk), and High(wht/blk) and the relay clicks and the fan operates at the appropriate speeds.
Many years ago I added a thermal switch to the radiator and spliced its grounded signal into the input for the high fan control. Thanks to this my cooling fan will come on if in traffic or it even comes while sitting stopped after a run in hot weather on the highway.
I'd like to understand however if the regina system has the ECU fan control and if so why its not working. The control box at the passengers right foot is Siemens. Perhaps this feature only exists on Bosch LH2.4. How did volvo intend for the fan to come on then?? *I* added the radiator sensor?
