With the arrival of hot weather here in the PNW I needed my AC over the last few days. First off, it didn't work at all. Ok, I figured it's busted. Then later that day all of a sudden it started to blow ice cold. Worked great for the rest of the day, then the next morning, then all of a sudden, when driving on the freeway it stopped blowing cold.

Then, even though I had my control set to "vent" the air started blowing at my feet. When I pushed the recirculation button it switched back to blowing through the vent. When I switch off the recirc button then it gradually seems to switch back over to blowing on the feet. Huh?

Any ideas where to start?
