Replacing Flex Brake Hoses - Fittings 900 1993

My flex hoses in the front are cracked and are worrisome to me. We'll be taking a fully loaded vehicle into mountainous terrain in about a month so I'd like to get them replaced.

I've read on the board that some have observed the flex line to be fitted to the hard pipe with loctite. They spread pure salt on the roads around here so I'm doubly worried about removing the lines.

I think that I will go ahead and order the mating hard-pipes and just replace the hard pipe and flex line as a set. The pipes are less than $30 each from volvo. I could anticipate well more than $30 worth of frustration in trying to loosen the fittings.

The pass side hard pipe comes out of the ABS module and then right through the fender - easy

The drivers side hard pipe connects to another pipe via a union on the frame rail. looks easy as well.

Does anyone see any issues with this plan? I have a pressure bleeder that I will use to bleed the system afterwards.
Thinking about new calipers as well: Bleeders are usually frozen, slide pins on their last legs. (pitted)
What else should I look out for in regards to this job?

Thanks,
Matt
