remove temp sending unit 120-130

broke the gland nut free, but the sender itself is rotating with the nut. Don't want to twist the tube. Soaking in penetrating oil, but any tips for getting it to release from the nut?

Separate question:

Would there be any issues in swapping crossmembers and complete front suspension and brakes, btw a 65 (4 door) (I'd call it a 64) and a 67(coupe)? Brake plumbing is somewhat different, at least the routing of the brake lines from the splitter to the front wheels. Are the flex lines and their mounting to the backing plate any different. 67 has calipers with internal passage and the earlier ones don't. Are the brake line connections the same?

thanks.

Just drove NYC to Nor. Cal.and averaged just under 28 mpg on the stretch I measured from Springfield, MO to Nevada City, CA. Stopped briefly in Bartlesville and had the pleasure of finally meeting the Walrus and his wife. Had a great dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Bartlesville after which I got to see his 164, a 122 wagon project and his renowned culch heap. Too brief, but I had to get to Tulsa that evening.
