Yeah, that is what I THOUGHT I typed....
Heat would be OK as long as someone watched the gauge and stopped you when it pegs.
I think this is one of those deals where patience and perseverance pay off.
You might see if you can lightly grab the bulb with some pliers and wiggle/turn it.
ANY motion at all is all to the good!
Also alternate tightening and loosening of the nut might bring positive results.
Especially if you tighten it tighter than it was before, giving a LITTLE metal deformation.
Remember that corrosion products are BRITTLE!
